INEXPERIENCED MEN

Sir,—lust a word about inexperipcrieneed men for farms. 1 have had one for two months; he was in a camp before he took to fanning. He certainly was not worth the money I bad to pay liirn; he would not work properly, just went about his work at a snail's pace. When be knew I was to start ensilage soon be walked out. They come out into the country and work a couple of months then clear back to town with the tale that farmers treat them rottenly. The Government has no right to expect farmers to put up with this sort of man. Alv wife and a number of my neighbours' wives ha\'e to help their busbands, as well as look alter young children, as wo cannot get proper labour. Farm Kit.
