CONTRIBUTION OF £250 COUNTY COUNCIL'S VOTE [by TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] DXTNEDIN, Friday A unanimous decision to contribute £250 for the purchase of fighter aeroplanes for Britain was made by the Tuapeka County Council to-day. The chairman, Mr. R. S. Thompson, said the war was going to be a long and bitter one and every penny available would be required, as with the intensification of aerial warfare the wastage of aeroplanes would be terrific.
