CLUB ACTIVITIES

New Women's Club. —An address on State control of the liquor trade was given by Mr. Fawkner, secretary of the Council of Temperance Education. The president, Mrs. W. B. Darlow, presided. Housewives' Association. —An address entitled "Food for Health" was given by Dr. H. Sutcliff at a recent meeting of the association. The president, Mrs. R. Bartleet, presided. DX Club. —A successful social and dance was hold by the Auckland branch of the club in the Carlton Hall, Sandringham, recently. About 190 people were present. Bahai Centre. —An address on "The World—One Country" was given by Miss D.' E. Burns at a meeting this week. Musical items were given by Miss D. Hyland.
