AUCKLAND FIFTEEN MATCH WITH WELLINGTON NO ALTERATIONS IN TEAM The Auckland Rugby representatives will play the final match of their 1940 programme against Wellington at Athletic Park next Saturday. Exceptional interest is being taken in this fixture on account of the fact that Auckland has an unbeaten record this season, while Wellington has lost but one match —to Taranaki, which was previously beaten by Auckland. The solo selector. Mr. F. W. Lucas, has made no alterations in the side which has played for Auckland in its Inst few matches, the personnel boing as follows: —Fullback, W. Hare; threequarters, L. Schubert, A. Wiles, L. Colmore-Williams; five-eighths, N. Pearinan (captain), R. 11. Barlow; halfback, P. L. Tetzlaff: front row, R. R. Hull (vicecaptain), A. Johnson, J. Gilmour; second row, D. Ryan, H. Priest, J. Barry, W. Smith; back row, D. Mills. Reserves: Backs, J. Molloy, F. Cooney; forwards, M. Nelson, A. The team will leave for Wellington by the threo o'clock train on Thursday afternoon. Mr. A. Tilly will bo manager and Messrs. A. J. Billington (secretary to the Auckland Rugby Union) and F. W. Lucas will also make the trip.
