TRIBUNAL'S INVESTIGATION {BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] "WELLINGTON, Monday The Price Tribunal recently received nunierous inquiries from various districts in New Zealand in regard to the selling prices of wire nails, and upon investigation it has been found that in some cases the prices charged bad been in excess of those authorised. In order to correct this position, the Price Tribunal lias issued a price order fixing the maximum wholesale and retail prices at which wirg nails may be sold throughout the Dominion. In the prices fixed by the new ord£r an allowance has been made for the additional 5 per cent sales tax recently imposed. Prices are on a basis of £49 10s a ton wholesale for seven-gauge and heavier.
