COMMUNITY SUNSHINE

WORK OF LADIES' AUXILIARY The annual meeting of the ladies' auxiliary of " the Community Sunshine Association was held recently. The members were congratulated by the board on their efforts in the interests of the less-privileged children. During the year, it was reported, the ladies had worked on patriotic committees and in addition had raised £lO6 toward the provision of hot meals for the children attending the Sunshine School. Bouquets were presented to the retiring president, Mrs. W. Champneys Bright, the retiring treasurer, Mrs. L. A. Eady, and the new president, Mrs. W. I<. Allen. The following officers were elected: — President, Mrs. W. F. Allen; vice-pre-sident, Mrs. B. J. McKendrick; secretary, Mrs. S. Crewther.
