TRANSPORT DECISION ROTORUA CANCELLATION RESENTMENT IN GISBORNE [bt telegraph—owx correspondent] GISBORNE, Wednesday Resentment at the instruction of the No. 1 Licensing Authority that the Railway Department should discontinue all road motor services between Auckland and Rotorua is expressed in Gisbonio by operators of services which link up with the Rotorua service. The decision, it is stated, will throw out of gear the whole system of feeder transportation which has been built up over a period of years. Passengers proceeding from Gisborne or intermediate towns northward will still bo able to connect with the train for Auckland, but on the southward journey the time-table between Rotorua and Gisborne will require to be altered, and it will entail late arrival in Gisborne;* In the meantime, the same authority which has cancelled the northern link of the journey requires the southern link to be maintained on the existing schedule, which, in.one direction at least, is largely valueless.
