ROTARY CLUB
ADDRESS ON NIGERIA A very large number of members and visitors attended the Auckland Rotary Club's weekly luncheon "Yesterday in Milne and Choyce's Reception Hall. Mr. C. K. Gricrson presided. A solo, "Land of Rope and Glory," was A'ing by Mr. Heddle Nash, of London, who is taking a prominent part in the- Centennial Music Festival. Visiting Rot aria lis -were Messrs. A. B. Wall (Dunodin), F. Jones, D. C. Peacock (Wellington), P. W. Peters (Napier) and B. S. Angus (Dargaville).
The task confronting members of the British Colonial Service in Nigeria was described by Mr. W. M. Milliken, an Aucklandcr who is on furlough after a tour of duty with the service in Nigeria.
