HOSPITAL CHAIRMAN
MR. MOODY RE-ELECTED TRIBUTES PAID BY MEMBERS Tributes to the initiative, energy and success which it was stated had marked the work of Mr. Allan J. Moody as chairman of the Auckland. Hospital Board were paid by members-when ia was unanimously re-eleCted to office for a further statutory term of two years at a meeting of the board last night. }lr. Moody was nominated by Mr. J. V. Macky and Mrs. M. M. Dreaver. . Members spoke highly of Mr. Moody's efforts, Mr. G. T. Parvin stating that his only regret was that a man of his calibre and forceful action did not have charge of the Dominion's war effort. Dr. Hilda Northcroft expressed the opinion that the hopes with which the chairman had entered office had been fully fulfilled.
