AN ALL-IN SCHEME

Sir, —Mr. Eraser proposes to use the territorials and the now elderly returned soldiers. Bv census figures this leaves over 100,000 men in New Zealand between 20 and 40 who are doing nothing toward the war effort. Wo would like to know what Mr. Fraser proposes to do with this 100,000 men from a defenco point of view here and abroad. From my conversation with men 1 know there must be thousands ready to servo in a scheme that moans equality of sacrifice. These men aro quite prepared to do their job, but will not stand for.others not doing their part. Some such all-in scheme as Britain now has is what is wanted. Every man pleasing himself is no way to win a war such as we are now involved in. \ Get At It.
