EVENTS AT WHANGAREI [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Monday Varying light and a fresh wind mado accurate shooting difficult when members of the Whangarei Defence Rifle Club were at the range at the -week-end. Scores were:—G. Neville, 47 at 200 yds, 40 at 300 yds, total 90; R. H. Allan, 43, 49—92; J. H. Ashton, 43, 46—89; J. Norris, 40, 43 —89; J. Litchfield, 45, 42—87; E. A. Foote, 40, 44—81; K. Clapnam, 33, 34—67.
