THIRD PARTY PROPOSAL (Received April 'J, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YOKK. April 1 The leader of the Committee for Industrial Organisation, Mr. John L. Lewis, in an address to miners, said he would try to weld the Labour, farmers, youth and negro movements into a third party if the Democrats' platform was not suitable.
