YOUNG MAN SENT TO GAOL [by tki.fouaph—own correspondent] WELLINGTON, Tuesday Picas of guilty were entered by Leslie .Tamos Harwood. a labourer, aged 23. when ho appeared in tho Wellington Police Court charged with the theft of a radio sot at HuntK, the theft of a motor-cycle at Hamilton, the theft of a motor-car and another radio set at Petone. On the first charge accused was sentenced to six months' imprisonment, while on the other charges lie was convicted and discharged. YOUNG MAORI IN COURT PROSECUTION AT HOTOHUA [nv TF.r.KGRAPII OWN CORRESPONDENT] ROTORUA, Tuesday The theft of goods to a total value of £Bl from three Rotorua shops was admitted l>v n Maori. Huikakahu Taooa Tai. .v_rod 17. when he appeared in the Rotorua Police Court before Mr. S. 1,. Paterson. S..M. Accused was committed to a Borstal institution for a period not exceeding two voars.
