Goosman, M.l', for Wnikato, reminded members at the annual meeting of the Iviwitnhi branch of the National Party that the party had promised full co-operation with the Government in the carrying out of its war policy. It should be apparent, lie added, that unless all sections of the community wore prepared to increase their effort New Zealand would fail to render the assistance and co-operation expected of it. Over 50 membors, including Mrs. Goosman and 20 other ladies, were present at the meeting. Officers were elected ns follows: —President, Mr A. I. Walker; secretary. Mr. \V. Laird; general committee.
