VESSEL FOR FIJI
USE /BY GOVERNMENT On their way to servo as crew in the new Royal Colonial Ship Viti, built at ong ong for tho Fijian Government, a par yof Fijian senmen under Mr. <*. V. Langdale, who will be second has'arrived at Auckland. The vessel will be for the use of the Governor and colonial officers. V replace the Pioneer, which fulfilled the same function for many years and tvas scrapped some time ago. In addition to her complement of five officers and' a crew of 18, tho vessel has accommodation in deck cabins for 12 passongors. The remaining officers are already at,(Hongkong. Accompanying the party is Mr. J. R. Xseville, formerly chief officer of the Pioneer, who is on his way to England to engage in naval service.
