MORRINSVILLE NEWS

RED CROSS SUB-CENTRE Goods valued at over £OO were forwarded recently by the Morrinsville sub-centre of the Red Cross Society to the AVaikato centre for despatch to military hospitals. A large quantity of wool and other material has been distributed, hut the completed garments have not yet been returned. Tlio goods forwarded comprised 46 pairs of pyjamas, nine bed jackets, 64 balaclavas, 17 pairs of mittens, 19 pairs of socks,. 11 scarves, 21 pairs of bod socks, 37 face cloths, two parcels of old linen and flannel, packs of playing cards and various tinned goods.
