[from our OWN correspondent] WHANGAREI, Tuesday During Monday 2.70 in. of rain fell in Whangarei. the highest fall for 24 hours since the heavy rains at the beginning of the year. This fall brings tfie total for the Easter holidays to 4.13 m., rain having fallen intermittently since Friday,
