DEEP-SEA FISHING
[BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WHANGAROA, Thursday A striped marlin weighing 2901b. was caught by Dr. R. L. Sutton, of Kansas City, after a hard fight lasting two hours off Whangaroa to-day. Another marlin, of 2861b., was landed by Mr. S. Ellis, of Hamilton.
