FILMS ON GOOD FRIDAY
Permission to hold picture programmes on Good Friday was granted to a local theatre at Inst night's meeting of the Mount Albert Borough' Council, , provided the* programmes were approved by the council. The Mayor, Mr. H. A. Anderson, said this action was in accordance with the council's usual practice. The motion that permission be granted was carried, Mr. T. J. Spry dissenting.
