ALIENS IN NEW ZEALAND

Sir, —I wish to endorse opinions expressed by "North Auckland"- and "Moils Star" re aliens in this country. Surely it is time something was done; I have enlisted and think, like others here, that tho well-paid foreigners who liavo tho good jobs here, and openly iell us they cannot go, should ho put to somo job to help defend this country. I work with one whose wages are £6 5s a week (tho same as mine). 1 will get 7s a day and he will gladly keep tho homo fires burning. NICW Z HAL AN I) EH.
