INTOXICATED DRIVER
i [PENALTY OF £25 IMPOSED Charged with being intoxicated while !n charge of a motor-truck on the Grciit North Road on December 18, Lee Frqnjt Hadley, a motor-driver, aged 29 (Mr. Dickson), appeared in tlio Police Court before Mr. C. R. Orr iWalkef, £}. M., yesterday. A plea of not guilty was entered. Detective Cromwell said he saw the truck con)e round a corner and strike & power pqfo. When the driver got out 8 unsteady and his breath Bmelled of liquor. Accvjsed was fined £25 and costs, and im licence was suspended for 12 months.
