RESULTS AT, CARLTON Thirty-four teams took part in tho annual Now Year tournament of the Carlton Bowling C'lub. Results were:—Section A: Muston (Carlton). Section B: Ure (Auckland).' Section C: Purely (Mount Eden). Section D: Lancaster (Carllon). Section E: Little (Carlton). Inter-section play: Muston beat Lancaster, Pnrdy beat ITre, -Little beat Muston. Little will meet Purdy in the filial, to be played next Saturday at two o'clock. BUCKLAND CLUB The final of tho second open pairs tournament arranged by tho Buckland Bowling Club for tho holiday season was played over seven heads, the result hciug:—Harrison and H. Short, 0, v, Plcydcll. sen., and Price, ij.. PLAY AT REMUERA Twenty-eight teams took part in tho fullrink bowling: tournament played on tho Reniuerji Club's.greens on Monday and Tuesday. In tho inter-section play Overington, 19, beat Mingins, 11, and Mailer, 20, beat Foubistcr, 18. Tho final will bo played at a later date. TOURNEY AT ST. HELIERS Tho St. Ileliors Bowling Club held a twoday full-rink tournament, for which 27 teams entered. In tho inter-soction play Watson (St. Holiers) beat Cushworth (Devonport) and Montgomery (Auckland) beat Beero (Rawhiti). Tho final between Watson and Montgomery will be played at a later dato. WAIUKU TOURNAMENT, Ten teams competed in tho Wainku Bowling Club's annual Now Yoar full-rink open tournamont. Tho winners were a Waiuku rink. .Tcrram, Whiteside. Hayes, A. Arklo, who beat another Wainku team skipped by E. S. Barriball, in tho final. KENSINGTON CLUB'S EVENT [KROM OUR OWN correspondent] WHANGAREI, Wednesday A Portland Club rink, Thompson. Williams, Whittham and Forguson, won the Kensington Bowling Club's annual tournament. Tho runncrs-up wero Cooper, Clarko, 11. Doel and Bakalich (Whangarei). PAPAKURA PLAY A full-rink tournamont played on tho Papakura bowling green on Boxing Day was won by Franklin (Papatoctoe) with five wins.
