MEMORIAL DAMAGED
Vandals recently damaged the Tc Aroha War Memorial, which takes the form of a soldier standing on the alert in full kit, with rifle and fixed bayonet. The bayonet has been twisted round the barrel of the rifle. The police are investigating the matter.
