SERIOUS INJURIES
CYCLIST STRUCK BY VAN Knocked off his bicycle when he collided with a motor-van on the Great North Road shortly after five o'clock last evening. Mr. Charles Howard Beatson, aged 56, married, a gardener, of 4 Bond Street, Archhill, suffered concussion and head injuries. Ho was admitted to the Auckland Hospital. His condition is serious.
