Miss Muriel Linnell, of Te Ihu Kaiwaka, who, has been visiting Auckland, will return to her home to-day.
Mrs. Godfrey Magnus, of Wellington, arrived in Auckland yesterday by the Mariposa from San Francisco.
Miss June Snowdon-Miller, ward of Dr. E. J. Miller, has returned from a six months' tour of Africa and the East.
Miss Kathleen Treahy, of Dunedm, is visiting Auckland, and is the guest of Mrs. J. Aitken Paterson, of Mount Albert.
Miss E. I. Hellaby, of Nihotupu, returned to Auckland yesterday by the Mariposa after spending several months abroad.
Mrs. F. W. Pieknrd (United States of America), Mrs. Godfrey Magnus and Miss Sheila Kennedy (Wellington) are at the Grand Hotel.
Mrs. Alexander Harvey, of Woodlev Avenue, Remuera, returned yesterday by the Mariposa from an extended v'isit to the United States.
Miss Betty Durrant, of Princes Street, left on Saturday to spend several weeks' holiday with her mother, Mrs. A. Durrant, of Taihape.
Mrs. Dean J. Eyre, of Kelvin Road. Kemuera, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs. R. Arnoldson, in Honolulu, returned to Auckland yesterday. Mrs. J. T. Caldwell, of St. Heliers Bay, returned by the Mariposa yesterday from a nine months' holiday, during which sho visited England and the Continent. Mrs 1-1. Chadwick, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs. G. S. Kent, Upland Road, Renuiera, left by the Mariposa last night to take up her. residence in Sydney. Mrs. P. M. Daniel (England), Mrs. L. Courtenay Atwool (Adelaide), Mrs. Dalgety (Wanganui), Mrs. F. Mcintyre (New Plymouth), Mrs. G. J. Moore (Gishornc), and Miss Barbara Garrison (Los Angeles), aro at the Station Hotel. Mrs. M. Turkington, Miss M. Turkington (Sydney), Airs. R. H. Hansen. Mrs. N. Samuels (Wellington), Miss Woolf (Melbourne), Miss J. O'Neil. Miss E. O'Neil (Wanganui), ATiss P. cU> Costa (Gisborne), Miss A. M. Norton and Miss 10. D. Jamieson (Cambridge) are at the Central Hotel.
Mrs. F. H. Rutland and her two nieces, Miss M. B. Fielder and ]\liss A. M. Rutland, returned to the Dominion yesterday hy the Mariposa to resume their residence inTauranga. When in Enpland they attended the conference l held by the Associated Countrywomen of the World in London in May, and since then they toured Britain and France.
