The Auckland Commercial Travellers and Warehousemen's Association held their seventh annual golf tournament at the North Shore links during the week-end. There were 121 entries for tho various events which resulted as follows: —

Eighteen-bole medal handicap: Senjor, R. S. Pacey; intermediate, S. Gyllics; junior, H. N. Preston. First round 3(Miolc net medal: All grades, A. Wliytc; runner-up, H. S. The winners were Mr. and Mrs. S. Mills with 03%. Mr. and Mrs J Simpson boing runncrs-up with 04. Trophies won during the season were presented by Mrs. L. H. Little, wife of the president of the club. Okoroire.—Sixty-five players took part in an open tournament. The main event, for the Higginson Cup, was won by G. Armstrong (Hamilton) with a cross score Of 131. This player also created a course record of 05. 11. Ford- (Matamata). Cr. Burgess (Hamilton) and Iv. Kelly (Hamilton) each returned 128. Burgess winning the runner-up trophy on a count-back. The morninfr medal was won by R. Bishop (Hamilton) with 03 net. on a count-back from G. T. Taylor. The afternoon medal was won by K. Kelly. 03. Rotorua.—Tho Rotorua Golf Club closed its season with a mixed foursomes competition, 140 players, including several visitors, participating. The annual local tournament was played over the week-end. the all-day match over 30 holes being ;\on by "VV. Phillips (Kiwitahi), with a net score of 134. K. Cooper was runner-up with 135. The morning bogey competition was won by T. J. Ryan, r, up, and the afternoon Stableford by L. W. Osborne, with a score of 35.

Whangarol Ladles.—Mrs. W. J. Glanville and Miss J. Stewart, with a score of ,107. 14 —153. won the medal aggregate played by members of the Whangarei Ladies' Golf Club'.

Whau Valley.—The Whan Valley Golf Club held its closing day on Saturday, when visitors from surrounding clubs were present. The Walker and Hall trophy competition was finalised, when R. Bundle beat 11. Simpson, 5 and 4. During tho afternoon the trophies won during tho season wero presented by the club president, Mr. O. Georgeson.
