KING'S COLLEGE WEDDING
BROWN—TAYLOR BRIDE IN TEAL BLUE SUIT The wedding was celebrated at King's College chapel yesterday afternoon of Miss Rita Florence Taylor, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everard Taylor, of Remuera, and Mr. Sydney Norton Brown, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. S. H. J. Brown, of Remuera. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. T. Y. G. Gilfillan, and the wedding music was played by Mr. Ij. C. M. Saunders. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a tailored suit of teal blue crepe suede with hat to tone, and fox furs. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Anson Shakespear as best man. Following the ceremony the guests drove to Hotel Cargen, where tea was served in the lounge, which was attractively decorated with wisteria and bowls of Iceland poppies. Mrs. Taylor received the guests wearing a frock of deep clover silk crepe with hat to match. The bridegroom's mother wore a black and white tailored ensemble and black hat. '
