ORPHEUS CLUB

MUSIC AND DRAMA NIGHT END OF SEASON PROGRAMME VARIETY OF ITEMS GIVEN The final programme for this season of the Orpheus Music and Dramatic Club was held in the Overseas League rooms last night. Members and guests numbering close on 200 were received by Miss Theo. Halpin and Mrs. Robert Simmers. Pianoforte solos and duets were played by Beth Forsyth, Mary Noad, Bery Barry, Colleen McCracken, Alison Kiti, Rosamond Caradus, Mavis Becroft, Patience Robertson, Kathleen Cruickshank, Peggy Buddie, Ailsa Hutchinson and William Stoupe. Vocal selections were given by Doris Hyland, Effie Pitts, Jessie Sheppard, Jack Williams, Robert Langdon, Marjorie Good, Jack Kingsford, Josie Heath-Preest and Robert Simmers. Sketches were presented by Mr. Michael Orr, who recently returned from Sydney.
