SUMMER SHOW
WAIKATO EXHIBITION ~' [by telegraph —ows correspondent] •HAMILTON, Friday. The decision of the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association to proceed with its annual show at Claude- ; lands has met with considerable support, and there is eveiy indication that the show will be a success. The event will take place on October 27 and 28. One of the principal events will be the Dominion jumping championship, tor which £135 has been allotted in prize- , money. There is also a pony jumping competition, the prize-money aggrejitinrr £35. A special effort is >.3ing made tins' year to encourage the Ayrshire breeders. The Ayrshire Society lias donated £ls. while the Show Association has allotted an additional £lo and . the Newell Memorial Cup as prizes, it is expected that breeders from all parts of the North Island wall send exhibits. Although there will be no judging, of chilled beef or other export exhibits in England this year, it has been decideu to retain the export meat classes. J uagiiip; will bo confined to the pens and to the hooks at the New Zealand freezing works. _______
