Nash, would consider some, way of assisting men on active service whoso industrial insurance policies would lapse owing to n reduction of income and inability to keep up the payment of premiums was sought by Mr. C. L. Can- (Government —Tiinaru) in a question to the Minister in the House of Representatives to-day. _Tlie Government had already taken steps to set up a Soldiers' Assistance Board, Mr. Nash said. Whether.assistance would be given in cases such as those mentioned by Mr. Carr ho could not say, but the board would help soldiers on active service to meet their obligations.
