CATHOLIC ASSOCIATION ELECTION OF OFFICERS Tho report and financial statement presented at tho annual general meeting of the Auckland Catholic Tennis Association 6howed that tho association enjoyed a very successful season. Tho annual carnival conducted on behalf of tho New Zealand Catholic Association proved a great attraction, and the arrangements in liand for its continuance at Napier this year, under the control of tno Hawke's Bay Catholic Association, wore to bo carried on. The election of officers resulted as follows: — Patron, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Listpn; vice-patron, the Rt'. Rev. Monsignor Calull; president. Mr. R. Somcrs; active vice-president, Mr. A. Hall worth; honorary secretary, Mr. b. oorbett: honorary assistant-secretary, Miss u. McGce; honorary treasurer. Miss M. Uvncn; auditor, Mr. F. Sweeney, sole selector. Mr. R Somers; delegate to tho New Zealand AssOtlic IhtM-Blub petitions were fixed as follows: —A and 15 grades, November 5; C grade. 1-.
