STRANGE POSTAL FACTS

Soviet Russia has a regulation which demands that parcels for delivery within its borders must be packed in wooden boxes or sewn in 'canvas, and sealed with the private device of the sender, to the new Post Office Guide. Cardboard or paper coverings for parcels will not be accepted. Among other interesting facts recorded is one which states that, if used clothing is sent to Poland, the sender must previously obtain, for enclosure, a "certificate of poverty" issued to the »ddress«4» kg local-Polish-authorities.
