MAN FOUND DEAD
GUNSHOT WOUND IN HEAD [by telegram—OWN correspondent] DARGAVILLE, Monday With a discharged shotgun near a bod, a single man, John Charles Morfc, of Tokatoka, aged 56, was found dead in his bed in a hut upon his farm by his neighbour, Mr. It. T. MacKenzie, who called about one o'clock on Saturday afternoon. An inquest was 'held by tho district coroner, Mr. J. A.. McLean, whose verdict, was in accordance with tho medical evidence that _ death was duo to a gunshot wound in the head.
