TWO CLAIMANTS TO £2OOO DECISION EXPECTED SOON [BY TELEGRAPH OWN CORRESPONDENT] WELLINGTON, Monday Two persons have claimed tho first prize of £2OOO in tho last art union drawn —the Golden Dawn —and it will be some days before an official announcement is made as to which claimant is to get it. The winning ticket was number ] 1)0039,, the butt bearing the nom do plume "Just a Fool." Mr. J. It. Mildcnliall, a mechanic, claimed the prize, but later Mr T. E. Astwood, a retired farmer of Okau, was announced as winner. J|r. Mildenhall changed Ins lodpngs just before the drawing, and, it is understood, ho believes ho lost his ticket then. , Solicitors representing both claimants have been in touch with tho art union organisation officials and a decision is expected early.
