The No. 1 grass track was in good order, in spite of the soaking it had received in tho past fortnight. Submission gave Amatory about three lengths and a beating over six furlongs in 1.17 3-5. Amatory was slow to get going and Submission ran into a clear lead before they had covered a furlong. Submission ran tho first two furlongs in 24 4-5s and four furlongs in 50s. She was under a nice hold at this stage and fairly wide out on the track, enabling Amatory to make up some of his leeway, but she came away at tho end. Amatory had a shade the better of the weights, being ridden by the apprentice, D. M. Home. Submission finished full of running. Entail Goes Steadily
