CHARGES DENIED

" LINK " ORGANISATION ' \ ADMIRAL INDIGNANT ATTITUDE. TO FASCISM WHAT OBSERVER REPORTED By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright (Kecolved August 0, 5.5 p.m.) v LONDON, Augr. 5 Admiral Sir Barry Domvile, in a telephone message to the News Chronicle from Salzburg, emphatically denied Sir Samuel Hoare's allegations that "the professedly non-party organisation known as 'The Link' was being used as an instrument of German propaganda," or that ono organiser was receiving money from Gei'inany. Sir Barry said he was coming to London by aeroplane to-day to refute tho charges.

Miss Alison Outliwaite, a member of a well known Victorian family, at present assistant editor of tho World Review, says she recently resigned from "The Link" owing to its pro-Fascist character.

In tho House of Commons yesterday, Captain O. Peako, Under-Secretary for Home Affairs, replying to Mr. G. Mander (Liberal—East Wolverhampton) said "The Link" was very closely watched all tho time.

An Independent Cable Scrvico message saj's tho Daily Express reveals that an observer for tho Economic League attended a meeting of tho central branch of "The Link" on Juno 30 and reported that tho speaker was obviously strongly anti-Jewish, and made a vigorous defence of tho methods of Germans, Italians, Japanese and Arabs, while Britain was described as the "most evil and corrupting influence in world politics."
