Grand Reception Gunnar had a grand reception with flowers and flags and a banquet when ho arrived in Copenhagen. His stockings were in rags, but otherwise he was in excellent condition, sun-burned, brighteyed, and smiling, and the medical examination to which he was subjected on arrival showed that ho had suffered not the slightest harm from his experiment. He had proved that it is possible to remain strong and healthy on an exclusive milk diet even while undergoing severe physical exertions.
