LABOURER CHARGED
Charged with stealing from the person of William Donald Reid on July 27, Ernest George Gallery, aged 44, labourer (Mr. Aekins), appeared in the Police Court before Mr. J. Morling, S.M., yesterday. Applying for a remand until August 15, Sub-Inspector Pender said accused had tried to cscapo while ho -was' being taken to tho police station. Accused was granted hail of £IOO and ono surety of £IOO. ° . <■ \ - "
