WOMEN'S PROGRESS CLUB
VARIED PROGRAMME A conversazione was held in the Higher Thought Centre on Wednesday afternoon by the Women's Progress Club, when members gave original poems and readings, recipes and household hints. Those who contributed to the programme were Mrs. .1. Diggle, Mrs. A. M. Chapman, Mrs. T. l'or.ree, Mrs. W. G. Young, Mrs. M. Stuart, .Mrs. A. Norris, Mrs. A. .Jenkins, Mrs. T. .1. Owors and Mrs. Parkes.
The president. Mrs. Charles Dickens, presented shoulder sprays to the visiting artists. Miss Beth Carrick, who rendered contralto solos, and her accompanist. Mrs. L. Grace. The hostesses wore Mrs. L. Neado, Mrs. 1"'. B. Deverick and Mrs. Green.
