MONTHLY SOCIAL EVENING ENTERTAINING PROGRAMME WELCOME TO VISITORS A bright and entertaining programme was arranged by .Mr. F. Butcher for the monthly social of the Association of .Men of Kent and Kentish .Men held l this week in the l'\abian Club moms. The members and their friends were received on arrival by the president, Mr. G. S. Bilker, and Mrs. Baker. The president extended a special welcome to Mr. 11. Hampton, president of the Birmingham and Midland Counties Association, and Mrs. Hampton, and to the honorary secretary. Mr. G. 'Brookes, and Mrs. Brookes. Mr. arid Mrs. lioehenstein, of California, Miss Margaret Dixon and Mr. Arthur Redstill. who both recently arrived front ; Kent, and Mr. T. Gilford, a member | of the Wellington brunch, were also j special guests. j The programme comprised songs by Miss Sylvia Brear. .Mr. Will Harris. Mr. .luck .Million, .Mr. Jamieson and Mr. Ray Forno; humorous numbers. Mr. Arthur Austin; operatic dance. Miss Dorothy Elmsley; tap duo. Misses .loan and Doris Marinont; guitar trio. Miss M. Fowl rill, Miss D. Mumby and Miss C. Leahy: and several nutnhers by Mudnm Fowdrill's string and accordion hands. The accompanists were Madam Fowdrill and Mr. "Ricks.
