CHARGE AGAINST YOUTH A stnrv of a youth who came to Auckland from 'IV Kuiti in search of work during May and who had since boon sleeping in the open or in fishing launches and relviny on friends for odd meals was heard in the I'olicc Court yesterday. John Munro Logan, a waiter, aged, If), appeared on a charge of the theft on May 6 at 'IV Kuiti of an overcoat and trousers valued at C 5 12s (3d, the property of Charles Frederick CanteM. The magistrate. Mr. .J. Morliug, admitted accpsod to probation for one year and ordered liini to return to To Kuiti. or to his parents, or to such other country place as the probation ofiicer directed.
