BILL PASSED IN EIRE REPUBLICAN ARMY BAN Independent Cable Servico (Received May 2-1, 7.10 p.m.) LONDON, May 24 The Eire Treason Bill, inflicting the death penalty for treason, has passed the Dail. Tlio Daily Telegraph says the bill provides that harbourers of traitors may be gaoled or fined £SOO, states the Australian Associated Press. The employment of the title Irish Republican Army is prohibited. Reports of tlio Irish Republican Army activities are banned and membership of illegal organisationsis penalised.
