Holidays Again!

DEAR BOYS AND GIRLS,T T OLIDAYS again! Dear me, some lucky people always seem to be having I—4 holidays. No beaches and bathing this time, though, but there . ever «4r so much ..to do just the same. . ..' \ . Have any of you been mushrooming, yet? I wonder. One morning recently I woke up and looked out of the window to see if the sun was shining and suddenly something white and round seemed to pop up from the dew-wet grass W "MnsWoms !" I cried, waking up the rest of the household at the Soon I was making my way down through the fields toward the magic ring I believed tie fa" ies hadift during the night. The grass was very wet and at was not long before 1 heard my feet making little squishy noises my shoes; hut even the cold and dew could not dampen the delicious thought of fried Lushroomsfor breakfast. So on I hastened, leaving a trail of little dark green frw«*Tvrints on the sparkling field behind me. . . Once or twice 1 lost sight of my mushroom patch, but at last ' af^r^^ under a barbed wire fence, I reached it. But, oh dear, it was not a mushroom patch after all. There in a perfect ring grew a dozen wee round grey toadstoo s.
