Burkard. of Sydney who has recently been visiting Noumea' arrived by the Roggeveen yesterday to spend some time in New Zealand, He is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. A. G. H. MacPherson, oft Hamp. shire, England, arrived by the Rog. geveen from the East yesterday, to spend about three weeks at Russel] big-gam b fishing. He is at Hotel Gargen. ' Mr. A. J. Wall, of London, who re. cently retired after many years' association with English and Irish newspapers, is a through passenger for Sydney by the Roggeveen, which arrived from the East yesterday.
