TRADE AGREEMENT
BRITAIN AND INDIA LANCASHIRE COTTON BENEFIT (Received March 21, 7-25 p.m.) LONDON, March 21 Tli e trade agreement between Britain and India has been concluded. It will operate for three years and will benefit the Lancashire cotton tryIndia will lower her duties on British cotton goods in the first year from 20 to 15 per cent, and the duties in subsequent years will depend on the volume of exports. The Ottawa preferences generally have been continued.
