BENT NEEDLES

Bent celluloid needles often spoil the pleasure of knitting, but there is no need to throw these needles away. They can be straightened without much trouble. Hold each one over the steam of a boiling kettle, being sure to keep the needle away from the flame. The steam will make the needle limp, and it can then be straightened. Immediately it has been pulled- into shape it should be plunged into a basin of cold water so that it hardens.
