OBITUARY

MR. P. E. BALDWIN [by TKI.EC.RArH —OWN corbespoxdent] PALMERSTON NORTH, Tuesday The death has occurred of Mr. P. K. Baldwin, one of the oldest barristers in practice in Pnlmerston-North and a well-known figure in professional circles. He was 71 years of age. Born in Otago Mr. Baldwin was educated at Otago Boys' High School. He then went to London and was called to the Middle Temple. Mr. Baldwin later returned to practice in Wellington, where at one time lie was associated with Mr. Justice Johnston in a legal firm. Thirty-five years ago he came to Palmerston North to practice. In 1937 he was president of the Palmerston North branch of the New Zealand Law Society.,
