GARDEN PLACE SCHEME
"ADMIRABLE PROPOSAL* "It is an admirable proposal and is being well carried out," said the Minister of Public Works, the Hon. It. Semple, after inspecting the Garden Place removal scheme at Hamilton yesterday. "Un-to-date machinery is being used and tnat makes a great deal of difference to the job. The ischeme will turn a place which was formerly of no value into a wonderful building site and should have a great effect on the prosperity of the town."
