OFFER TO STUDENTS

LONG VACATION TRAVELS SPECIAL CONCESSIONS ]>ROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] LO NIXON, Feb. 9 British students at European universities are again to be offered the opportunity to visit New Zealand and Australia during the long vacation by the Australian and New Zealand Passenger Conference, which will charge only single fares for the return voyage. Students from New Zealand, or any other British country, studying in the United Kingdom or on the Continent will be able to leave England from June 1 and to return by October 31. They may travel by the Orient Line, the New Zealand Shipping Company, the P. and 0. Steam Navigation Company, the Shaw, Savill and Albion, tha Blue Funnel Line and the Aberdeen I and Commonwealth Line. I They may travel out to the Dominions by one roa±s and return by another, provided that lares are adjusted where necessary. A number of universities throughout England has been circularised, and it is expected that more students will avail themselves of the offer than last year, when eight accepted. Return fares for the students to New Zealand will range from £46 (tourist) to £94 (first class). It is expected that many New Zealanders may welcome this opportunity to return home during the course of their studies in England, and it is also thought likely that other students may be encouraged to come to the United Kingdom if they know that this break in their stay in England can be made. British students will also probably welcome the chance of visiting the Dominions for the first time.
