CASES AT TAUMARUNUI [BY TELEGRAPH OWN CORRESPONDENT] TAUMARUNUI, Thursday On .i charge of selling liquor in a proclaimed area, Peter Mitchell was lined £SO by Mr. R. M. Watson, S.M., in the Police Court to-day. The police stated that defendant sold two bottles of whisky at 25s to a plain clothes constable.
The proprietress of the Cecil Private Hotel, Sadie Moore Carlton, was fined £lO for keeping liquor for sale, and £ls for selling liquor.
